ArcGIS Pro 3.1.1; Excel .XLS; mobile geodatabase

Using the Excel to Table geoprocessing tool:

If I import an Excel spreadsheet to a mobile geodatabase, the Excel to Table tool automatically prefixes the output table name with "main.main_...".

For example, main.main_ArcGISProLog.

Video:

I'm aware that all mobile geodatabase/SQLite tables get prefixed with "main.". That's expected.

But what isn't expected is the additional "main_" in the name. Further, it's not possible to override that extra "main_" in the GP tool parameter. It only seems to be possible to fix it after-the-fact by renaming the table in the Catalog pane.

Could that behavior be changed so that the table name doesn't get prefixed with "main_"?
