Editing Grid Spacing

Working with interior building areas for COVID social distancing it would be helpful to be able to create a grid that had different spacing for the x and y axis in order to distance people in an offset manner. Changing the angle of the grid intersection would be nice too.

Hi Christian Black‌ Are you working in ArcMap?  It sounds like what you're looking for is the editing grid in ArcGIS Pro: Customize the editing grid—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation Can you please confirm?

If so, there is not a plan to add new functionality to ArcMap, but the good news is that this is available for you already in Pro.  Please let me know if this is what you're describing in your idea, or something else.

Sorry, Not working in Desktop but in Pro. I need to made the axis distances different from one another. Example 6 feet and 5.5 feet.

Thanks for the response, Christian.  I understand now.  You want to configure a rectangular rather than square grid.  The idea is reviewed and open for voting!
