Display full path and file size in file name Save and Open Dialogs

In desktop is it possible to display the full name of a long file name or folder path either as a Tip on mouse over or resize the dialog as in Word/Excel etc. 

This would be useful when adding data and opening/saving map documents

Also often with a frequent opening of the open dialogs it would be useful to see file size or date modified as in a word document open.

Oops seems the file open dialog has this its only the add data that doesnt.
