Defining projection is an reocurring task for us where we recieve data from external sources and where the projection is often missing or incorrect. Therefore this suggestion to have an option to do this directly from the catalog window. preferably with a choice when you rightclick your dataset. This would boost our productivity for sure.
in old arccatalog you could define the projection by pressing preferences and change from there. thats also an great alternative.
