Custom Event Layers

It would be great if we could create custom event layers in ArcGIS Pro.

• Event layer based on WKT or JSON stored in a text field. Similar to an XY event layer, but for polylines, polygons, and multi-points. Link.
• Mobile geodatabase query layer. Link.
• File geodatabase query layer. Link.
• Event layer similar to a linear referencing route event layer, but based on the cumulative length of the line, instead of M-values.

I’m not sure what programming language/mechanism would be used.
