Credit Estimator Publishing Web Layers.  When publishing from ArcGIS Pro to ArcGIS Online, users should be notified how large that dataset is and roughly how many credit it will be consuming.  We are working through an issue with support where a feature class we are publishing out of an SDE database is consuming 10x Feature Data Storage than publishing the same feature class from a file geodatabase or shapefile.  Currently we have several features layers that are consuming 10x the feature data storage than they should.

Second this recommendation/idea after burning through a stack of credits trying to successfully publish a tiled layer service. I ran the numbers on the number of credits it would take to store the tiled imagery but not the cost to tile the cache online!

Add a Credit Usage Estimator to the Share as Web Layer process in Pro.

Storage cost vs time spent to optimise a vector dataset is something we have to evaluate often.

Knowing what the real Credit cost of a dataset will be prior to sharing will be very useful.
