ArcGIS Pro 3.3.0

I have multiple layers in the Contents pane. I want to use shift/CTRL + up/down arrow keys to select multiple layers. And then group or remove the layers using a single action.

That works for standalone tables, but not for spatial layers; it seems to have a hard time with the sub-levels like symbology and annotation class.

Shift/CTRL + clicking does work as expected for spatial layers. That's good, but using the arrow keys is also a common workflow, so I'm wondering if Pro could be enhanced to do that, too.

I've submitted this as an idea, not a case/bug, because I suspect it might be working as designed. It might have been designed that way to allow for keyboard navigation to the layer sub-levels. But I'm hoping that behaviour can be improved: if selecting multiple layers with the arrow keys, then only select the top-level layers to allow batch grouping and removal using the arrow keys.
