Hello all,
if we work with the tool "Extract and Clip Data" the ERROR 999998: Unexpected (50% worked) comes up sometimes. The reason could be multipart-features, especially of contour lines. Our suggestion is, to add an optional function “Explode Multipart Features” in the tool "Clip", which will be used in the tool "Extract and Clip Data". In addition to that the tool "Extract and Clip Data" should be run as Batch-process, so that > 1 selection in "Input AOI Features" is allowed. In this case the tool has to generate the target geodatabases and the AOIs with the name of the selected map sheets.
