When creating a query layer or registering a database view with the geodatabase:

Could functionality be added that would let us easily check the underlying data for duplicate IDs in the unique ID column? It would be part of the create query layer tool or register view tool. Not a separate tool.

I know we ought to check for duplicate IDs when we write the SQL query in a SQL client. But that doesn't always happen.

To prove the point, this related post about duplicate ID errors is very popular (15,000+ hits): https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/error-opening-table-in-pro-quot-failed-to-retriev...
