The creation of a 'browse' button that will enable automatic zoom when users move from one feature to another in the table.  TransCAD modeling software has this feature and it works quite well.

So when that setting is checked, does it zoom to the feature as you arrow down through records in the table?

In ArcGIS, you can either double-click to the left of the record and that will zoom, otherwise right-click > Zoom To or use the Zoom To command at the top of the table.

Yes, it zooms to each feature as you click on each record.

That works just one more step required.
