This is an idea for Pro to behave more like Windows Explorer -- allow for the use of Backspace to navigate back. The need for this could be mitigated by supporting buttons 4 and 5 on the mouse though both would be nice.
Although it is still in our backlog to support Backspace for navigating to the previous location, we do already support Alt+Left Arrow as a keyboard shortcut for the same function. (Similarly, Alt+Right Arrow is for navigating forward.)
Also, in Pro 3.2, you can modify the pre-defined keyboard shortcut for a particular action in the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog - simply click in the keystroke field and enter the keystroke you prefer. Below, for Go Back, I have changed the keystroke from Alt+Left to Backspace:
Click Save to save your shortcut. You can restore the default shortcut later as well.
