Borders Widths and Automatic Offset

It would be great if the map border had a toggle option to automatically set the offset effect to negative half of the border width (offset = -0.5 * border width). 

As it is now, assuming your map is to the limits of your layout, half of you border is off the layout or hanging over other graphics, maps, or other objects on the layout when snapping to edges.  Since the border is a line that snaps at the center no matter the width the border must be eyeballed to edge of the layout or the offsets set manually for each border layer.  A toggle button could simplify this.
