I am interested in being able to mark a bookmark as viewed. I want to easily see which bookmarks have been looked at from either the ribbon or the catalog pane. Example, I right click and in addition to update and remove bookmark, there is a mark as viewed option. This would then display some type of check/symbol in the thumbnail to easily show the bookmark has been looked at. In the catalog pane the details drop down symbol could change for bookmarks that have been marked as viewed. In a long list of bookmarks it is easy to lose track of what has already been looked at.
I'm curious to understand more about the workflow behind this. How are you using bookmarks so that having a viewed option would facilitate your workflow?
We are using them as a QA/QC function. In this instance, there is a project where we are delineating wetlands. Bookmarks would be added by a reviewer for areas that need to be reviewed/edited. Add a polygon here, delete this, split this up, etc. So after the review there is potentially a long list of bookmarks which need to be addressed. I would use the viewed option once corrections where made. I would then know that one is done and I don't need to go back to it.
Have you looked into Data Reviewer to manage the QA/QC workflow? https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/validating-data/get-started-with-data-reviewer.ht...
I do not think Data Reviewer was considered. Upon initial review this seems a little more involved than what we were looking for, but I can certainly mention it as an option.
