We are trying to import some BIM (Revit and IFC) data into ArcGIS Pro 3.1.4. The files are loading successfully, however some elements are not being imported. As there is little or no feedback on these elements that have failed to import, it would be useful to have a log file that is generated to feedback to the user the failed to import elements and reason why (e.g. unsupported feature type, etc). Without this, it is almost impossible to tell in very complex models if everything is being imported correctly. Plus if we are wanting to help improve the process of importing BIM data into GIS, we need to let our modellers know what is not working!
The images views below are 1) of the view inside Revit and 2) the view inside ArcGIS Pro.
If useful, I can share the Revit file.
Hi Jeff, could you share what Revit Category do those features belong to? Yes if you could share the Revit file, that will be very helpful.
I strongly recommend you to upgrade to the latest ArcGIS Pro version 3.3. That might fix the issue

Those are extrude simple geometry elements. Pro 3.1 would not read them, but that has been fixed on Pro 3.2

Hi @Jeff_VanEtten,
Thanks for posting this idea.
In the ArcGIS Pro documentation, we have added listings of those BIM elements supported on direct-read of Revit and IFC files. This is intended to serve as a resource for knowing in-advance what will be read and how the elements are organized when represented as feature classes.
In addition, starting with ArcGIS Pro 3.2, the extruded simple geometry elements are included in the direct-read.
We welcome feedback regarding if the above items help to better lay out what elements are included on direct-read of Revit and IFC files.
