There needs to be more documentation on the Flow Length tool in they Hydrology toolset with Spatial Analyst. The input is a flow direction raster and the output is a raster that shows "longest flow path length". However, the actual value of the raster cell units is not clearly stated and even after my own investigation, I cannot figure out what the pixel values mean for the output raster .
Please include in the documentation exactly what unit the raster cells are in and perhaps even a general explanation of how the tool comes to that calculation.
