ArcGIS Pro needs a feature/ capability to add all relationships that a featureclass or table has to the Map when a featureclass is added, or after through the context menu. Since relationships are needed to be included in a feature service for branched versioning "Feature services allow queries on related data, but only if the relationship is defined through a geodatabase relationship class and both the origin and destination tables are in the map before you publish", there needs to be a faster and better way for us to add these relationships to the Map:
Secondly, after analyzing for publishing, instead of pointing back to the featureclass that has the missing relationship, add the ability to add it to the Map. It is painful to sort through each relationship to find which one is missing, especially when the layer and table counts are getting numerous like the screenshot above.
As part of this issue, improve the relationship indexing if new relationships are added to avoid duplicates and having to manually search and increment them. Reindex or check if the index is taken before assigning it.
Thank you.
I'd happily take this as a checkbox in the add data window or a dropdown in the catalog right-click--> "Add to map"
Hi @jmk_307! Would you be able to split this into two separate Ideas? It will allow us to better keep track of support from the community. Feel free to add the link to the second one in the comments and I'll re-open this thread then. Thanks so much.
