I have created some 3D layouts in ArcScene --> Exported that as a 2d image & used in several presentations and in other requirements. These 3D maps/Layouts provides a better impact than a 2D map.

For these kind of requirements, I need to Label the attributes of some feature & I believe this functionality is not available in ArcScene.

However, if there are few features to be labled, I do it by placing 3D lables. But this takes a lot of time depending on the no. of features to be labled.

Hence, Label the attribute in ArcScene will be useful in such cases

I realize this thread is old, but if you haven't tried importing your scenes to ArcGIS Pro, that might work well: Add maps and scenes to a project—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop

Then you might be interested in ArcGIS Pro Enable the Label Placement Properties in a Scene

Hi @KumaranRaji

ArcGIS Desktop, which includes ArcScene, is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea. We recommend that you migrate to ArcGIS Pro, our fully supported desktop GIS application.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas. We truly appreciate your contributions to continuously improving the software to help you do your work and look forward to what ideas you have for ArcGIS Pro.
