Hi all,
I'm using Pro 3.5.5. There's the new feature to be able to minimize a map or table or any floating view like you would an application window at Pro 3.4. What good is minimizing the map when the Contents Pane that goes with it stays visible in the Contents Pane!?
I also wanted to put 2 maps next to each other and drag and drop layers from one to the other. This isn't possible because the map's Contents Pane doesn't go with it.
I would like the map's Contents Pane to go with it so I can view the 2 maps with their Contents Panes side by side or I can minimize the map with Contents Pane.
Thank you
I agree — right now minimizing a map without its associated Contents is only half the story. The Contents pane is still global, so it breaks workflows like side-by-side map comparison or dragging layers between maps. Having a map-scoped Contents pane (dock/undock with the view, or auto-switch with focus) would make multi-map work far more intuitive and consistent with the new windowing behavior. This would be a big usability win for advanced Pro users.
