ArcMap direct connect login

When we use direct connect to login to an existing mxd  user gets prompted with login window several times if user account does not have sufficient permission.  User never gets an error message stating the problem is permission related.

Closing this idea as it is specific to ArcMap. ArcGIS Desktop is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea.
