Most States use the Bentley Suite of CADD for at least highway design. In order to assure the most cost effective use of ESRI GIS products with that investment in CADD products it would be good to assure that the ArcGIS product line natively supports that vendors file types..

I don't think Bentley publishes the format of those datasets. If they did ESRI might be able to add support for them. As an alternative, ArcGIS 10 can import TINs from LandXML files via the LandXMLToTIN GP tool. InRoads should allow you to export DTM/TIN to LandXML.

As Bentley InRoads has been retired and is no longer supported by Bentley, I will be closing this Idea.
