Currently (v3.0), when editing in ArcGIS Pro and viewing the Create Features dialog, there is an option to Filter feature templates by using the "Arrange Templates" dialog. When "Group by Geometry Type" is selected, the grouping of create feature templates seems to be by alphabetical order of Line > Point > Poylgon. This places lines above points in the template order which likely does not match the legend order. It would be excellent if the order was Point > Line > Polygon like most legends or at least to have an option for order to be by geometry complexity of Point then Line Then Polygon.
