The Eye Dropper tool in Arc Map does not seem to be available in ArcGIS Pro! I would definitely recommend having that.
Implemented in ArcGIS Pro 2.7. See https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/arcgis-pro-eye-dropper-tool/idc-p/1010251/highlight/true#M14567
I also use this to label halos. My work around is grab a screenshot and exporting to Photoshop.
Just read this excellent blog Where is the nearest National Park?
The author refers to http://www.iconico.com/colorpic/ as a tool that she used for that project...
100%. I do this every day.
The real question is, where is the Nearest National Park that has the greatest # of Bigfoot sightings? He says Bigfoot is real and his video proves it | News | hickoryrecord.com
This seems like a quick-win for the dev team to add. I do GIS but it can't be that hard to write code to find the color values at a cursor point lol
Oh for the love, why is the eye dropper tool not available yet?
Until ESRI integrates it, it's available is XTools - XTools Pro Help - Eye Dropper
Hip hip hooray!
So yeah, this was unveiled as the new 2.6 feature at the UC in July. In August when 2.6 was release it was not included. Why?
Hi Jakub Sisak When you say that it was unveiled at the UC in July, were you maybe watching the ArcGIS Pro Road Ahead session? The idea is correctly marked as In Product Plan as this is currently under development for ArcGIS Pro 2.7. It's being worked on - thank you for the patience!!!
Perhaps it was the road Ahead. Apologies
