Change that annoying drop-down list control in the ArcCatalog Preview window to "radio" buttons. It could save so many clicks. It shouldn't be difficult to do, should it? .
Make it sticky too! I never want to preview the geography so I am always having to switch the view to Table - please make it stay on the last used selection.
