Allow table sorting in edit mode

Currently you Sort a table by field, start editing, save regular table edits and the attributes get un-sorted. Stop editing, resort table, start editing......etc.
Allow tables to be sorted within edit mode and stop tables from being re-sorted when saving edits.

Retain Field Sorting

Field Sorting lock for desired fields in Attribute Table to keep records always sorted, especially when new features are added or attributes are changed. No need to repeatedly run sort procedure.

ArcMap is a mature product and is no longer under development.

Since this issue was not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro, this idea will be closed.  If users discover that they are still encountering this issue in ArcGIS Pro, please open a new idea including your specific workflow, and the version of ArcGIS Pro that the issue is reproducible in.
