Warn the user when changes are at risk of being lost. I've often found that changes to a feature class table need to be saved, which isn't always obvious in the ArcGIS Pro design because the Edit menu doesn't open automatically. Since ArcGIS Pro 3.5 at the latest, I've also had frequent situations where I've manually changed values in the table and if I don't leave the field, the changes are lost without warning. Create an alert that requests the user to save before leaving a table after editing.g edits

@CordulaGöke You may be encountering this bug https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug/attribute-values-for-previous-records-disappear-when-ad-bug-00012...

The public description may not have enough information so here are the steps that we are following to reproduce- step 5 is the key step.   If you don't think this is the same issue, please work with our support team to submit a new bug.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Add a point FC to a map and open the table
  2. Activate the Create tool (Edit tab > Features > Create)
  3. Select the point layer template in the Create Features pane if necessary
  4. Click in the map to create a new point
  5. In the newly created row in the table, enter some value into a field. Do not hit Enter or Tab after
  6. Go back to the map and create a new point (you will have to click twice--once to give the map focus and once to create the point)
BUG: The edit from step 5 is gone

@JenniferCadkin I think it was also in other cases. The bug was reported 6 years ago, so I really hope bugs that age are corrected.
