Please add a single axis scaling option to the Scale tool.
Currently you can select an object, click Scale and then type 'f' to enter the scale factor. Extend this tool to have the option to separately scale X & Y to an input factor.
Yes - I can use the transform tool to scale a simple object but I can also use a 10 ton press to crush a walnut.
A simple scaling option would typically be used where we need to increase a proposed object (pool?) by 50% in y, where the exact origin/anchor isn't that important as we are still moving things around.
Another scenario is where you've created a couple of geological sections that you want to add to a map and want to change the vertical exaggeration to make them look pretty. Again - absolute location doesn't matter as much as being to quickly get the scaled shape you want.
