‌‌Functionality:

A button to "Mark" the area currently visible on screen (i.e., the current map extent).

This area is automatically added to a background tracking layer (invisible or visible as needed).

Helps to avoid revisiting already marked areas.

Ability to mark a location as visited, for example, when updating building footprints or parcel extents.

‌‌Behavior:
Each time the user clicks the "Mark this area" button:

ArcGIS Pro captures the current map extent.

It saves this extent as a polygon feature in a dedicated tracking layer.

This layer can be used for:

Symbology (e.g., completed vs. pending zones),

Spatial queries (e.g., to see which areas still need coverage),

Export or reporting.

‌‌ Optional Features:
Automatic timestamp (date when the area was marked).

User ID tracking (for multi-user environments).

A button to "Show/Hide Marked Areas" (to toggle visibility of the tracking layer).
