I would like to open a layer's attribute table in Map Viewer (not Classic), click on a line to highlight a feature, then click on something to zoom to that selected feature. The "Center on Selection" option is missing in the attribute table settings menu (compared to Map Viewer Classic), and double clicking on a line like we do in good ol ArcPro or Arc Map does nothing too. Help!
Very good news @KevinMayall Many thanks!

Got it- sorry- I think the Enterprise Portal I'm working in must not be updated - I see it when I log into our own ArcGIS Online account.
Thanks!
I've run into this issue myself. I discovered this piece of Esri documentation that says that zooming to a feature is only available for feature services.
In my own map, in the "new" map viewer, I am unable to zoom to features in a layer that's from a map service I published. I added this map service, which contains 4 layers, to the map by adding the whole service as an ArcGIS Online (AGOL) content item, and then adding this whole service / content item into my map. Not one layer at a time.
However, I can zoom to features in a layer that was brought into ArcGIS Online as an individual layer; the service it is part of contains many layers, but these layers were brought into AGOL as one layer per content item, not one service per content item. So it would appear that in order to be able to zoom to a feature via the attribute table in the new map viewer, the layer has to be its own separate content item in AGOL, rather than part of a content item for a whole map service. This feels pretty inconvenient to me.
Dear Esri,
Has this been changed in the November 2024 ArcGIS Online update?
I'm seeing behavior that makes me think you can now zoom to a feature even when using a map image layer, rather than a feature layer. Can I trust my eyes? ha
I read all the documentation (at least all that I could find) about the update but didn't see anything about this.
Could really use this function in Portal "new" Map Viewer. I cant believe this function is apart of Map Viewer classing, but not in the new viewer esri developed and pushing to be the default view we are supposed to use.
