Zoom level for embedded maps

Is there a way to set a specific zoom level for a map that is embedded - I have data in US, Europe & Asia - but the map defaults to a "north america" view when it is embedded.

When you generate the embed code, the current extent of the map is used to create the embedded map. This has been the default behavior for perhaps 6 months... So if you generated the code for your embedded map before that, you might want to do it again, and just zoom to your area of interest first.
