Hi,

I'm having the following issue: I have a web map which contains a WMS (of an aerial photo), which is hosted on our own GIS-server. The WMS ("Hogeresolutiefoto - februari 2022") can be switched on/off in the web map, without any problems.

Also I can add the WMS in ArcGIS Pro. However in my Web Experience, the WMS from the web map seems gone, without any notice. I don't know what is causing this. Re-adding the WMS to the web map doesn't change anything.

Maybe this issue is browser or firewall related, I'm not sure. I have tried in several browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) and the WMS doesn't show up in the Web Experience. The Web Experience is not having trouble with other web map services, which aren't hosted on our own GIS-server. I'm also sure it initially used to work in the Web Experience but for some reason now the WMS doesn't show up anymore.

Has anybody got a clue what might be causing this?

Kind regards,

Ingmar

Have you tried using a tile layer instead? WMS layers generate images on the fly and will bog down performance. Maybe that's part of it? When it comes to imagery I always upload as a tile.

@GeraardsbergenGIS  is there a zoom in limitation with it? Both pictures looks like they are at two different zoom levels.

There is no zoom limitation. The Web Experience uses the same zoom settings as the web map.

I have replaced the WMS with a tile layer (.TPKX published in ArcGIS Online) and this seems to work. The tile layer is both visible in the web map and the web experience. Thank you for your help!
