When I go to create a shapfile. I get this Error message. The value type is incompatible with the field type. [CreationDa]

Any thoughts on how to fix?

Yes, I go to export data and click export to shapefile and it tries and then it gives that error.

How did you publish the data? Are you able to share the source data?

I have not published the data. It is just sitting there, I had a request for the shapefile from it. I’m new to using the online version.

I do not have it publicly shared yet. My data is collected but there is more data that needs to be collected. There is just a group of people that would like to move my data into another system we use.

What is the CreateDa fields used for? Is It a date field?

I had the same problem. Unfortunately the CreationDate field cannot be deleted. I found a workaround, though: clicking on the hosted feature layer in AGOL and choosing "Open in ArcGIS Desktop" from the menu on the right. I then exported the layer to a shapefile in ArcGIS Desktop, and chose to publish and overwrite the existing service in AGOL. This solved the problem, however it would be useful to know what causes this.
