Since HTTP will no longer be supported, I decided to scan our ArcGIS Online organization for any references. One of my webapps is still referencing an HTTP endpoint even though it was removed months ago.
I created a copy of the app, and then used AGO-Assistant to delete the Json code block. ArcGIS Security Advisor no longer includes the test app when scanning for HTTP. The test app also seems to launch without error, so it seems reasonably safe to make similar updates.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
As I understand it the workflow is rebuild from scratch each time something changes.
I'm sorry Bill, I'm not following. The old HTTP layer was removed from the web map. Are you saying that I needed to create a new web app using web app builder (not developer edition) just because a layer was removed from the original web map? Problem here is then I will be creating a new URL that has to be updated across the website. Or if I point to a new map, I have to reconfigure all the widgets.
