I have in the past uploaded some zip files, to enable sharing to others.  I recently tried to upload a zip file for an online map, and it tells me the file is too large. I cannot find anywhere the file limitations listed.  Can anyone tell me what is the largest file I can upload?  This is such a cool way to share data. I hate that it is limited.  Thanks for any help.

Can you share a screenshot of the error message? Is the file too large because of too many features? Are you using zip files for shapefile uploading to an online map? (https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/reference/shapefiles.htm)

It appears that 10 MB is the limit for this. Take a look at this support article:

https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/how-to-attach-files-larger-than-10-mb-to-features-in-a...

(however, I could be completely off base here - it's hard to find full information on this. It may be a permissions issue too). Is the shapefile exceeding 1,000 features? That could also be an issue.
