Uploaded Symbols are correct dimensions and look stretched

I was wondering if anyone knows why custom symbols that we created at my organization as PNGs in the proper dimensions look good on ArcGIS pro:

But when I upload the layer to ArcGIS online they look stretched:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

are you viewing the symbols in ArcGIS Pro using the coordinate system used in Arcgis Online?

Hi Dan,

No, I originally created the images and uploaded them to ArcGIS online as files where I pulled the URL to the symbology for an existing layer.  When I view online it's a skewed view, when I view the same layer on ArcGIS pro then it looks as it should.  But all formatting was done online not on Pro.

Not sure, but it just looks like the png s are getting projected
