Hey Everyone,

I keep getting this error: "Unable to clip the extent, spatial reference is missing" everytime that I try to publish my tile on AGOL. My original file before I packaged it in Arcmap by using the Export Tile Package tool and uploaded it to AGOL by using the Share Package tool, had a projection defined so I'm not sure why I'm getting this error. Here is a screenshot of the problem.

The file size is approximately 3 GB. Is there a work around for this?

Hi Chuck,

Click on the URL under 'Map Contents'.  This will show if the service has a spatial reference or not.  Ex:

Hey Jake,

This is what I have when I click that URL. It shows on the bottom that there is a spatial reference. Any idea why I'd be getting the error?

Is your spatial reference set in the Rest endpoint? I would suggest posting about your specific issue as the original post is quite old. Can you share your tile package?
