Does anyone know how I can animate time enabled data that are hourly or in intervals less than 1 day? The option in ArcGIS online only lets you choose a minimum of 1 day intervals, or equal intervals. Neither of these really work as my  data are periodic, but with several points in one day - the equal intervals mean there is a lot of dead time...the 1 day intervals are way too quick.

I suppose you tried varying your playback speed as indicated in the help Configure time settings—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

thank you, yes, the screenshot I included shows the advanced time settings. I was now able to set my data to animate in 30 minute intervals and it shows in Online, but because my data is sporadic, it's very slow....i need varying intervals it seems.

It is possible in ArcMap, but I don't know if that applies to online
