StreetMap crashes during geoprocessing

I've been trying to work with StreetMap.sdc and every geoprocessing function I've tried crashes after several hours of processing.  Ultimately, I want to clip and project the data, and convert it to a grid.  Each crash produces a different error message so it's difficult to understand what's going on.  I've tried it on two different computers as well.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Joanna,

What ArcGIS version and service pack is installed? What license level is used? What StreetMap product are you using? Esri StreetMap Premium or Pro? Navteq or Tele Atlas? What year and release information is listed on DVD? Are you using the Data Distribution Application (DDA) utility to convert SDC data to another format? What errors are returned?
