Shared a ArcExplorer map but unable to see it in the map gallery?

I have shared an ArcGIS Explorer map to public. I can see it in my account as being published but unable to find it in the website or map gallery using the tags specified when publishing.Why is that?

Hi Shravya,

Is your ArcExplorer map an NMF file? If it is, is your site set to show all content? The 'All Content' option lets you see ArcGIS content such as NMF files in search results, the gallery, and groups. The default setting, 'Web Content Only' hides ArcGIS files. To switch, click the arrow to the right of Show: Web Content Only at the top of the site, then click All Content from the drop-down list. Publicly shared maps only appear in the map gallery if the editors of ArcGIS.com add them based on a selection process. If you would like the editors to consider your map, send an email to agol_gallery@esri.com with details about your map. For more information about the gallery selection process, see this blog post.
