Does the size of the feature layer in ArcGIS Online remain the same even after the features have been deleted from the feature layer, or does the size go down once the features have been removed?
We have a feature layer that got to be more than 4GB in size, so in order to manage the service credit consumption, the features were deleted, but the file size and corresponding service credit usage remain the same. We expected the file size and credit consumption to go down significantly, but it did not. We tested publishing an empty feature layer with the same schema, the size is only 198KB.
