Is there a way built into ArcGIS Online to generate shortened URLs for web mapping applications? I got such a URL for the test map I made, but not for the web application. I haven't tried making the shortened URL myself via bit.ly. Is there some reason NOT to do this?
There's sort of an indirect way... if you use the facebook or twitter links, we'll generate a shortened URL, but there is no direct way. We probably should have that though.
