Hello!

How do you share specific data/pinpoints from ArcGIS online from Survey123?

My organization collects data from tree plantings and other organizations who we collaborate with want this information. How do you share it with them? I want to export only specific points. The survey we use has over 2000 submission so I don't want to share the entire thing but instead only ~200 points.

I have filtered the data to show only the survey points that I would like to share. I then created a new feature layer with these points. However, there is no option for me to export the data now. I can share the map with the organization but I would like to download the actual shapefiles. Is there a simple way to do this?

Thanks!

When you say you "created a new feature layer", what do you mean? It sounds like you need to create View Layers, if that's not what you're describing.

View layers can have filters on them to limit the features shown, and they can have their own configured settings for sharing, export options, etc. If your other organization has a creator-level account, they should be able to export the data to a shapefile themselves. If not, anyone with access to the layer can use desktop GIS like ArcGIS Pro or QGIS to export the layer to a shapefile.

You could also add those layers to a Hub site, which makes it easier for non-creator users to get a shapefile.
