Sharing Content Outside Organization

Not sure what I am doing wrong.  Whenever I share projects (maps, surveys, etc.) and want to share the links to people outside my organization, they cannot open it up.  Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Hi Robin, are you sharing something posted in GeoNet or in one of the products, like ArcGIS Online or Survey123? If GeoNet then I can help you, if one of the apps I can direct your post to the relevant product space where someone else should be able to assist. thanks.
