The current behavior of renaming a folder, forces me to click enter to lock the rename into place. I was expecting to right click a folder, click rename, type new name, select outside of folder (Unselect), and the new name would show, but it goes back to new folder or default. I have to press enter to lock my new name into place. Is there a capability to just rename and unselect to have the new name show up?

Explorer Online.

Hi Ted,

Are you trying to rename a folder in arcgis.com? There is no right-click option to rename a folder. Instead, you create a new folder, go to the old folder and move all items to the new folder. Then delete the old folder.

Perhaps you can elaborate on the steps you are doing.

Thanks,

Mike

Ahh Mike, good to hear from you, been a long time, so you are on this team, cool stuff.

Actually, yes I should be clearer. So, I am using Explorer Online. I can create a folder from the ribbon, and then in the TOC, I can right click, rename, so this is what I am referring to from my post.
