Well we are a week out from the Great American Eclipse. Like many of you out there, we are using ArcGIS online to help manage this once in a lifetime event. Kudos to Michael Zeiler for some great resources! I have found a lot of data regarding this event but it all seems to be static. We would like to see the shadow of the umbra move across the United States in real time corresponding to the real eclipse. Does anyone know or have run into such a service? Thanks.
I would almost think that every major news network would be doing this on their own with video and likely shots of all the people and crowds. It would be cool to get a detailed satellite image of all the people gathered to watch this!
