I'm in the process of setting up the Citizen Problem Reporter Solution. I'm working on setting up email notifications (using Make, fka Integromat), but finding an issue when trying to generate update notifications. The parent layer (Requests) has fields for First Name, Last Name, and Email. The related table (Comments) also has fields for First Name, Last Name, and Email. What I'd like to do, is pull the Requests contact info into the Comments contact info.
My end goal is to have an email generated when an initial request is submitted (✔️), send an email when the status changes (✔️), and send an email when a comment is added. However, when a comment is added, the related table has it's own contact information fields (that's currently not visible or editable by users, and I want to keep it that way), and when a comment is added, the Requests contact info is not showing any data in Make. Ideally, the related record's (Comment) contact info questions are populated by the parent layer (Requests) contact info answers, so that the initial submitter can be notified when a comment is added.
Any suggestions? And if you say "Use ____ Arcade function", please be much more specific. My Arcade skills are very, very basic.
