Mike -

When is the subscription Pricing going to get released?  I had hoped it was to be covered during yesterdays seminar.

I'm curious as well. This was in an email I received early-May :

On May 31 the ArcGIS Online beta program will end however your  beta account will continue so that you have plenty of time to transition  to a subscription plan.  This means that none of your work will be lost  during the transition.  All your customization, maps, apps, data,  users, links, groups and hosted services will move seamlessly to the  released product in June.
You will receive communication in the next few weeks with details  about ArcGIS Online subscription plans and your options. We are  committed to insuring you have plenty of time to transition to the right  plan so please continue to use ArcGIS Online and tell us how we are  doing!

I also remember receiving an email that pricing would be released 30 days prior to the final product release. Well if end of June is the final product release.........where's the update? I need more than 2 weeks to convince my boss to invest in the subscription before all my online mapping is lost.

Nathan,

Don't worry. Beta users will have plenty of time to convert over to a real subscription.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks Mike but I'm still a little worried. Beta was up May 31. Its now June and no word on at least pricing or plans? When my boss and board ask how much is this going to cost...I don't know if its going to be $10 a month or $100 a month. Hard to recommend a subscription with no cost.

I am on beta as well and received the same email.
I noticed yesterday that my Subscription Status has now been changed to (Trial Subscription) that expires on Sep 1, 2012. Instead of 100 GB of storage, AGO has been changed to a credit system and I was given 10,000 credits.

I don't really like this system because I do a lot of publishing to AGO just to see how it will show up on a Web Map and the Ipad app. The new system seems to punish users for this trial-and-error approach when generating tiles. Using up credits for "computation" is annoying. In the old way I could delete things that do not show up how I like, or things I don't use.

Anyway, complaining aside I am still very happy with AGO and its functionality. BUT HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?? Dying to know.

Thanks,
James

Hi All,

ArcGIS Online subscription pricing is now available. Please contact Esri Telesales at 1-800-GIS-XPRT or contact your Esri Regional Office (or International Distributor for any non-US users) for details on the subscription pricing.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

The pricing seems outrageous.  All I want to use it for is easy access to maps on smartphones.  That's it.  All of my data and services will be on my ArcGIS server.  $10k for >5 users that don't use any storage space!!!!!  I'll keep my money and figure out another way.  Thanks but no thanks E$RI.

Andrew,

If all of your data is already on ArcGIS Server, you don't need to purchase a subscription. You can continue to use ArcGIS Online as you have been to view and share maps on the web.

Thanks,

Mike

But I can't use any of the Organization features, such as groups, custom homepage, etc. with a personal account.  Also can't use that commercially.  I've got no issue paying for the Organization subscription, but there should be a lower-cost, no-storage option for those users that have already invested in ArcGIS Server / SDE.

and just when I was getting up off the floor after the $80k price quote for Advanced Server Enterprise ASP...
