Do you have the link? It isn't showing up on the Support site using the bug number or even just the word 'apostrophe' as search keys

... sort of retired...

Hi Dan, I think you have to ask ESRI to associate your organization with the bug before you can see it.  That's the way it's always worked for us.

Hello @RandyKreuziger1

The status of BUG-000122039 is Under consideration.

It is not currently in the product plan, but Esri have not ruled out addressing it.

Bug and Enhancement Request Status

There isn’t an existing idea logged for this issue. Please go ahead and create a new Idea so that the workflow impact and requested enhancement can be properly tracked.

In addition, please log a support case for the bug and escalate it.

Provide a Business Impact Statement for a Bug

• How the bug affects day‑to‑day workflows
• The number of users or teams impacted
• Any delays, operational risks, or service interruptions caused
• Why a fix is needed urgently

Once the idea is created and the case is logged with the Business Impact Statement, we can proceed with escalation.

Workaround: Add another email alias without an apostrophe to the user's account, and use this email alias when adding a member to an organisation in ArcGIS Online

I'm sorry, but filling out an ESRI Idea for a known high severity bug seems ridicules from a customer point of view.  It's a bug, bugs should just be fixed by Vendors.

The most effective way to ensure issues like this are investigated, prioritised, and addressed is through a formal Technical Support case. A logged case provides traceability and ensures it enters the official defect workflow. Without a case, we don’t have a mechanism to track or escalate the issue internally.

We have a two year old case that is linked to the seven year old bug.
