What does this mean?

I had this error some time ago and this was the answer:

"Error occurred due to direct join with Access table.  Once client either a) imported table to a PGDB or b) used an ODBC connection,
the issue was resolved."

Unfortunately I am having it again and haven't been able to resolve the problem.

Same problem.

Discovered that I was trying to make an Access table in the TOC part of the Map Package.

The tool was giving an error, I believe, because of that Access table because I removed it and was able to successfully create a map package.

Try this:

In TOC choose: List By Source.

See if there is a stand-alone table with the TOC and remove it.

Run the Map Package Tool again.

If the data in the Access table is needed, another method to include that data in the feature table may be needed.
