Hello,

I am trying to add a Feature Layer to the new version of Map Viewer.I created this shapefile in ArcPro, opened it in Map Viewer Classic, then saved it as a Feature Layer in my content.

But when I'm in the new Map Viewer, it does not show up. And there isn't an option to open it using the new Map Viewer.

Any help on how to get around this or maybe I'm missing a step? Thanks in advance!

So I ended up figuring this out from this other post: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-online-questions/feature-service-draws-in-map-viewer-classic-bu...

If anyone else has this issue here's what I did.

1- reproject the shapefile in ArcPro to web mercator

2- uploaded the shapefile into Map Viewer Classic, in the map I want it in

3- save shapefile as Feature Layer in content

4- switched to new Map Viewer

just an FYI: there seems to be limited functionality so need to fix symbology and etc in Map Viewer Classic.

Adding from a file (shp, csv etc) is planned for a release later this year. This is also the same timing for the save layer in new map viewer as well.
