New Story map embedded PDF issues

With a couple story maps I am developing I am having random but frequent issues not being able to view the embedded pdf doc in the frame, and unable to interact with it. I can usually 'open live content in new tab' but not always. I am using side cars docked and the URL's shouldn't be causing a problem. Issues both Chrome and MS Edge browsers. Any thoughts?

Thanks Claudia - pretty sure I have done this the correct way for embedding. It just seems fickle as to when the document appears and when it doesnt.

I’m having a similar issue. PDF hosted on AGOL linked in story map as live embed only works once after cache is cleared, then says ‘no preview available’ until cache is cleared again. Works linked through the button option, or as a hyperlink, but I want a way to see the PDF in the story maps in content, so need the live embed window to work. I have a ticket in with esri.

Hi @rolphj , were you able to figure this out? I'm getting the same issue. It works at first and then I get a preview error
